Reviving a Legacy, One Brushstroke at a Time.

Originally opened in 2005, Second April became the source for artistic spark in the budding art scene in a downtown area that screamed for a new identity. Tim Carmany, a Canton native, began establishing his reputation in this very building in a second story booth. After opening The Hub Art Factory—now the longest-tenured gallery in the Arts District—Tim returned to 324 Cleveland Ave with a vision to reawaken the building's legacy. The name "Second April" was lovingly restored as a nod to its roots and a symbol of creative rebirth.

Surrounded by restaurants, bars, galleries, and retail shops—and overshadowing the Centennial Plaza—Second April is more than an art gallery. It’s a creative community, a gathering space, and a launchpad for ideas that make Canton more interesting, vibrant, and alive.
